Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aneebah Essa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Spielberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Spielberg looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Essa misses with a double jab

and Spielberg counters by moving into the clinch.

Spielberg manages to break the clinch.
Spielberg circles away from the clinch attempt

and Spielberg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Essa won't be happy with that.
Essa tries to bench press Spielberg off him but Spielberg keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Essa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Spielberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Essa keeps working.
Essa is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Essa is not content to let Spielberg control the position.

Spielberg stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Horrible takedown by Essa or perhaps it was just good defense by Spielberg which made him look bad.
Essa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spielberg tries to avoid it but Essa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spielberg to the ground. Spielberg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Spielberg pushes Essa up against the cage in a clinch.

Spielberg manages to break the clinch.
Spielberg looks gassed!
Essa throws a head kick but Spielberg moves out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Spielberg.
Essa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Aneebah Essa has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Essa wants to control but Spielberg postures up.

Spielberg decides to stand up, so the ref orders Essa to his feet.

Spielberg shoots in and bounces Essa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Essa is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Spielberg is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Spielberg gets to his feet - Essa follows without any prompting.
Spielberg feints a jab promting Essa to slip. Spielberg then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Essa slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Spielberg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Essa, pushing him back against the cage.
Essa wants to get back to striking at distance but Spielberg won't allow it.

Spielberg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Essa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spielberg circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aneebah Essa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Spielberg has eaten all the pies!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Essa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Spielberg is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Spielberg!
