Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Karpov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane comes to the cage accompanied by DONT LOSE YOUR HEAD. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crane.
Karpov is looking to clinch but Crane is avoiding it.
Crane's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Karpov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crane scrambles back to his feet.
Karpov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Crane lands with a nice body punch.
Karpov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Karpov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Karpov throws a looping overhand right but Crane ducks down to avoid it.
Karpov tries to clinch
and Crane counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karpov tries to clinch there but Crane circles away.
The crowd cheers as Karpov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crane doesn't seem phased though.
Karpov tries a head kick but it misses.
Karpov avoids the body shot from Crane.
Karpov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Crane cracks Karpov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Crane misses the shot to the body.
Karpov misses with a looping left.
Karpov throws a big shot that misses.

Karpov tries to clinch up but Crane circles away and keeps his distance.
Crane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Karpov throws a lazy uppercut

Karpov tries to clinch but Crane moves away

Crane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Karpov throws out the jab.
Karpov's corner calls for a 1-2. Karpov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Crane on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Karpov tries to clinch but Crane moves out of range.
Crane steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Karpov.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karpov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Karpov throws a sloppy head kick and Crane moves out of range easily.
Crane scores with a shot to the body.
Karpov looks gassed!
Karpov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Karpov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Crane swats away the attempt to clinch by Karpov.

Crane misses with a body shot.
Karpov tries a head kick but it misses.
Crane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crane digs a good body shot into Karpov's ribs.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crane, as that shot connected.
Crane darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A head kick misses from Karpov.
Crane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Karpov's head backwards.

Karpov is rocked!
A slow jab from Crane misses its intended target.

A relieved looking Ichabod Crane thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
