Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Stglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Stglitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Reese!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese misses with a body kick.
Stglitz throws the left hand but Reese avoids the punch easily.
Nice body kick there by Stglitz.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stglitz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reese has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reese and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Reese throws a leg kick that misses.
Reese circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stglitz tries to work over Reese's front leg with a kick but Reese checks it.
Stglitz misses with a low kick as Reese jumps back.
Reese throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stglitz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Reese manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Reese looks to score with a jab to the body but Stglitz is just out of range.
Reese tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stglitz was well out of range. Poor timing from Reese.
Both fighters circling a little - Stglitz finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Reese throws a leg kick that is checked
and Stglitz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hugo Stglitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reese keeps the fight on the outside.

A looping hook to the body misses from Stglitz. Reese does a little dance to reset his feet.

Stglitz takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Stglitz fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Reese is out of range.
Reese takes one to the side of the head.
Stglitz scores with a kick to the midsection.
Stglitz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reese checks a leg kick nicely.
Reese misses with a wild body shot.
Reese waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stglitz.
Stglitz throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Stglitz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Reese checks a leg kick.
Reese takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Stglitz looks to throw the jab but Reese is out of range.
Reese sizes up Stglitz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stglitz throws a leg kick
and Reese counters with a stiff right hand.
Reese fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stglitz manages to avoid it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Stglitz.
Reese looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stglitz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Reese lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Reese misses with a kick to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stglitz. Reese does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reese is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Stglitz rather than just go for the knockout.
Reese throws a body kick that misses.
Stglitz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reese.

Reese on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That kick from Reese tenderised Stglitz's leg. Stglitz is trying to keep his angry face on.
Reese lands a nice hook to Stglitz's body. Stglitz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Reese dives in and grabs Stglitz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stglitz pushes down on Reese's head and hops out.
Hugo Stglitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Reese.
Reese looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Stglitz misses with a low kick as Reese jumps back.

Stglitz keeps Reese at a distance using the push kick.
Reese tries to land a leg kick but Stglitz saw it coming and moves away.
Horrible takedown by Reese or perhaps it was just good defense by Stglitz which made him look bad.
Stglitz throws a shot from downtown. Reese moves away and avoids it.

Reese shoots for a takedown but Stglitz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reese tries to close the distance and clinch but Stglitz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stglitz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Reese fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stglitz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Reese.
Stglitz throws a looping overhand right but Reese ducks down to avoid it.

Stglitz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reese's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Reese wants to improve his position but Stglitz is controlling well.

Stglitz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Reese is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hugo Stglitz!
