Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gold Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Mad Cobra - Put Gunshot. Ryan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Darude - Sandstorm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a jab to the head.
Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ryan is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action.

Silva cracks Ryan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Ryan tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Ryan is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ryan gets back to half guard.
Ryan seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Silva frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Romo Silva dominated that round.
That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice shot by Ryan.
Silva throws out a loose jab but Ryan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ryan lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Romo Silva has been cut.
Ryan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva dives in and scores a takedown into Ryan's guard.
Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Ryan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Silva wants to improve his position but instead Ryan has moved into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ryan is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.

Ryan throws a big elbow that misses.
Ryan throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ryan pushes a forearm under Silva's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Silva is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
