Nielsen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nielsen is pressing down on Barakus's thigh, looking to free his foot. Barakus is holding on for now.
Nielsen is thwarting Barakus's attempts to control the position.

Nielsen is working for a submission of some sort.
Barakus desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Nielsen is looking for a kimura but Barakus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nielsen to get the leverage.

Nielsen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
