The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A jab from MacPherson does it's job there.
MacPherson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hasa.
Hasa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MacPherson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

MacPherson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hasa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hasa cracks MacPherson with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Hasa immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! MacPherson is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Hasa!

Eduardo Hasa was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
