Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama takes the fight into the clinch.

McSubberton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dama connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McSubberton scrambles back to his feet.
Dama has managed to clinch.
Dama has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McSubberton uses from the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dama is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McSubberton defends well.
McSubberton tries to free his leg and advance position but Dama is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McSubberton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dama is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dama has escaped and now he's on top!
McSubberton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dama's guard.
Dama is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dama gets to his feet - McSubberton follows without any prompting.
McSubberton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dama drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McSubberton tries to buck Dama off but Dama is having none of it.
McSubberton is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Dama has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Dama wants to control from the top but McSubberton keeps moving.
Dama postures up in McSubberton's guard and throws a big left but McSubberton blocks it.
McSubberton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dama defends well.
McSubberton looking for a sweep. Not yet McSubberton, not yet.
McSubberton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McSubberton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dama controls the pace.
Dama trying to control the position from guard on top but McSubberton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McSubberton is looking for a triangle but Dama pushes his legs off easily.
Dama gets to his feet - McSubberton follows without any prompting.
Dama shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dama was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dama can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McSubberton is looking to escape.
McSubberton tries to get back to half guard but can't.

McSubberton sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dama is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dama is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McSubberton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dama.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dama is keen to just control but McSubberton is a slippery customer.
McSubberton wants to improve his position but Dama is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lal Dama dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dama gets a takedown into half guard.
Dama wants to take a breather but McSubberton is having none of it.
McSubberton is looking to improve his position.
McSubberton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dama's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dama's back!

After the fight, Sparry McSubberton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
