Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charm Demarsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power has chosen Gasellit - Kiittämätön nilkki as his entrance music. Diesel Power acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charm Demarsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Diesel Power!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power jabs at Demarsh's body.
Demarsh throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
Power cracks Demarsh with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Demarsh on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Power tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Demarsh swivels and escapes.
Demarsh tries a head kick but it misses.
Power shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Demarsh sprawls well. Demarsh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Power gets slowly back to his feet.
Demarsh is looking to score with low kicks.
A swing and a miss from Power.
Power misses with a hook. Demarsh ducked under it nicely.
Power looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Charm Demarsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diesel Power.
Demarsh misses with a straight right.
Jab from Power.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Power closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Demarsh's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Power accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power postures up in Demarsh's guard and throws a big left but Demarsh blocks it.
Demarsh wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Demarsh wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Power is now in half guard.
Power thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Demarsh's head.
Power throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Power is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Demarsh defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Power not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Demarsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Power on the ground.
Power prevents Demarsh from improving his position.
Power slows the pace down in half guard.
Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Power seems to be working for a kimura but Demarsh defends the submission attempt.
Power seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Demarsh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Power.

Power is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Power is keen to just control but Demarsh is a slippery customer.
Power throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Power wants to free his trapped foot but Demarsh is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Power is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Power lands strikes from half guard.
Power thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Demarsh is refusing to be controlled, as Power sits in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Power scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diesel Power dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Demarsh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Power shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Demarsh as he jumps to the side.
Power swats away the attempt to clinch by Demarsh.
Demarsh motions for Power to come forward. Demarsh throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Power shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Power showed some decent athleticism there.
Power wants to take a breather but Demarsh is having none of it.
Power throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Power is keen to just control but Demarsh is a slippery customer.
Power is looking to advance position but Demarsh won't allow it.
Diesel Power has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Demarsh wants to improve his position but Power is controlling well.
Power uses his free foot to push down on Demarsh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Demarsh.

Power looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Demarsh wants to control but Power is having none of it.
Power can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Demarsh is looking to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Demarsh tries to lock up and control but Power gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Demarsh regains half guard.
Power working the head and body with strikes.
Power looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Power is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Power wants to free his trapped foot but Demarsh is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Power wants to lay and pray for a moment but Demarsh keeps working.
Power landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Power has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Demarsh is trying desperately to improve position.
Power scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Power breaks from Demarsh's wrist control and lands an elbow.


It looks like Charm Demarsh has been cut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Power prevents Demarsh from getting the reversal.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Power pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.


Demarsh is rocked!
Power has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Demarsh's face.
Oh Demarsh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!


Charm Demarsh's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Power softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Demarsh is out cold! Power jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diesel Power!
Diesel Power bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
