Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grot Meno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragners Dzigurs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzigurs looks to land a left hand but Meno moved out of range nicely.
Some wild striking there from Meno.
Meno slips under a jab.
Meno doesn't manage to clinch there - Dzigurs circles away.

Dzigurs tries to keep at a distance but Meno has taken the fight into the clinch.

Meno tightens his grip and picks Dzigurs up, before dumping him to the ground. Dzigurs manages to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Meno drops back looking for a leg! Dzigurs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dzigurs manages to kick Meno off! Meno jumps back into Dzigurs's guard.
Meno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dzigurs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Meno passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dzigurs gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Meno controlling the position easily from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Meno looking to finish Dzigurs with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dzigurs!
Dzigurs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Meno. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Meno content just to control the position here.
Dzigurs has given up his back here.

Dzigurs is trying to defend against the choke here but Meno has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Meno Tightens the hold and Dzigurs taps out furiously! Meno displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
