Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rex Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Martin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Martin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Martin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Martin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Martin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brown explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martin pinned against the cage. Martin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Martin cracks Brown with a big right hand but Brown just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Brown avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Martin.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin scores with a couple of short elbows.
Martin lands an elbow.
Brown is trying to escape the position but Martin is controlling the position.
Brown takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Brown tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Martin looks up at the clock and then as Brown takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Martin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Martin has closed the distance and engaged Brown in a clinch.

Martin lands with a nice combination. Brown backs away looking to recover.

Martin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Martin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Martin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Martin's back!

Martin is trying to defend against the choke here but Brown has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Brown Tightens the hold and Martin taps out furiously! Brown displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
