Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Oda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oda tries to clinch there but Stevenson circles away.
Stevenson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stevenson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oda tries to avoid it but Stevenson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oda to the ground. Oda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stevenson misses with a double jab.
Oda thumps Stevenson with a low kick.
Stevenson lands a high kick!
Oda fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oda slips a jab and a cross from Stevenson.

Stevenson closes the distance and clinches.

and Oda counters with a head kick. That will keep Stevenson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
