Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo forces Ivanov back against the cage and clinches.
Aldo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ivanov has Aldo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ivanov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Aldo tumbling to the mat - Ivanov dives into Aldo's guard.
Aldo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aldo has his foot on Ivanov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ivanov works his way back into a safe position though.
Ivanov gets to his feet - Aldo follows without any prompting.
Ivanov misses with a combination
and Aldo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aldo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ivanov is looking to improve his position but Aldo isn't that keen on the idea.
Ivanov bucks Aldo off and manages to get back to his feet!
Aldo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ivanov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Aldo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Aldo struggles to land a body shot inside as Ivanov controls his hands.
Ivanov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ivanov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Aldo counters with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ivanov lands a nice shot to the body.
Aldo darts in trying to clinch
and Ivanov moves into the clinch.
Ivanov manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Aldo is trying to maintain a safe position but Ivanov gets an underhook and turns Aldo into the cage.
Ivanov goes for a takedown attempt but Aldo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aldo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ivanov closes the distance and pushes Aldo back into the cage.
Come on Ivanov - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Aldo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ivanov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ivanov fails with the takedown
and Aldo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ivanov!
Ivanov tries to improve his position but Aldo has taken his back! Aldo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ivanov tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Aldo pushes Ivanov away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
