Ironz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Limp Bizkit - Gold Cobra. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironz is looking to slow Sliders down with leg kicks.
Sliders lands a jab to Ironz's midsection.
Sliders listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nice straight punches there by Sliders. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sliders.
Ironz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ironz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ironz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sliders lands with a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ironz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sliders's head.
It looks like Max Sliders has been cut.
Sliders jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ironz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sliders avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A big left from Ironz misses.
Sliders connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ironz momentarily.
Ironz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sliders ducks under a wild hook from Ironz.
Ironz blocks a jab.
Sliders looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Ironz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sliders scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ironz doesn't seem bothered though.
Sliders lands a head shot.
Sliders throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A big left from Ironz misses.
Ironz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sliders on the wrong end of a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Ironz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sliders tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sliders lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Sliders throws a punch but it's blocked by Ironz.
Sliders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ironz takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sliders lands a really nice looking cross but Ironz seems unphased.
Sliders circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ironz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sliders.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ironz thows a leg kick but Sliders checks it
and Sliders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sliders.
Sliders misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sliders takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ironz throws the kick towards the body but Sliders avoids it.
Ironz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sliders in his tracks.
Ironz lands a jab to the nose.
Sliders motions for Ironz to come forward. Sliders throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ironz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sliders throws out a leg kick but Ironz moves out of range and Sliders only half commits.
Sliders avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ironz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sliders takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Good shot there by Ironz.

A shot to the body from Sliders misses
and Ironz counters with a big right hand! Oh Sliders is in trouble here! Ironz follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Arnie Ironz was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
