Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mahmoud Denjat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johann Joensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Denjat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to U.S.A. National Anthem. Joensen has chosen Gasolina as his entrance music. Mahmoud Denjat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joensen throws a leg kick which misses Denjat's front leg but catches the back leg as Denjat tries to avoid it.
Denjat lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Joensen at a distance.
Joensen throws a leg kick but Denjat moved away.
Denjat takes one to the side of the head.
Joensen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Denjat.
Joensen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A clash of legs there as Denjat blocks the low kick.

Denjat shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Joensen's guard.

Denjat misses with a low kick.
Denjat throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Joensen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Denjat throws a push kick but Joensen slaps the foot to one side.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Denjat.

Denjat fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Joensen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Denjat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Joensen.

Johann Joensen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Denjat on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Joensen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Denjat doesn't seem bothered though.
Denjat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joensen circles away quickly and effectively.

Denjat looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Joensen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Denjat connects with a nice short shot to Joensen's temple.
