Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Zigmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacinto Koutras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jacinto Koutras!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koutras wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Zigmu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Koutras on his heels. He'll look to pass Koutras's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Koutras is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Koutras wants to sweep here but Zigmu controlling him for the moment.
Zigmu wants to control from the top but Koutras keeps moving.
Zigmu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Zigmu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Zigmu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Koutras should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Koutras uses his free foot to push down on Zigmu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zigmu.
Zigmu is breathing heavily.
Koutras with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Koutras throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zigmu because Koutras loaded up on that one.

Zigmu is looking to improve his position but Koutras isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Koutras closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zigmu to the mat! Zigmu manages to get full guard.

Koutras got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zigmu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Koutras has managed to get both his arms back between Zigmu's legs - danger averted.

Koutras has control of Zigmu's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zigmu regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Koutras postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zigmu looks a forlorn figure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zigmu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zigmu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Let's hope that Koutras has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Zigmu enables Koutras to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zigmu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Koutras stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zigmu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Koutras has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
