The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris moves in looking to clinch but Doi pushes him off.
Norris pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Norris closes the distance and clinches.
Doi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Norris to keep the fight standing.
Doi letting Norris take a breather here.

Norris breaks from the clinch.
Norris fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doi throws a solid leg kick but Norris takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Doi.

Norris has managed to clinch.
Doi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Norris just stands there and leans against the cage.
Norris tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Doi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Norris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Norris lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Norris throws a head kick that misses
and Doi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Norris moves in looking to clinch but Doi pushes him off.
Doi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Norris dodges the punch combination from Doi.
Doi stuffs the takedown.
Norris tries to clinch up but Doi circles away and keeps his distance.

Doi drives through and clinches with Norris against the cage.

Norris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Norris gets tackled into the cage by Doi. Doi maintains the clinch.
Norris content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Norris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Doi.

Doi drags the fight down to the ground.

Doi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Norris frees his head nicely. Oh but Doi has switched to an armbar! Norris is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
