Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mo Tali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tali's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, If ya smelllllllllllll what the rock is cookin. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tali looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Burns throws a right and a left that Tali avoids nicely.
Tali tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Burns manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Burns bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Burns punishes Tali's body with a nice straight punch.
Burns misses with an uppercut.
Burns throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Burns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tali was well out of range. Poor timing from Burns.
Burns wants to slow Tali down by chopping away at his legs.

Burns changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Burns fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tali fails in his attempt to clinch.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Burns.

and Tali counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burns can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tali not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
