The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazursky doesn't manage to clinch there - Kawate circles away.

Mazursky lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kawate at a distance.

Kawate closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mazursky circles away.

Mazursky missing with a left hand there. Kawate was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mazursky fails to land with a series of punches.
Kawate tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters circling a little - Kawate finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Mazursky moves into the clinch.
Mazursky lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kawate or not.
Mazursky is pressed up against the cage. Kawate has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mazursky down to the mat. Mazursky avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mazursky is looking for a sweep. Kawate is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kawate connects with a nice short shot to Mazursky's temple.
