Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sasha Grey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noobie Nooberson!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey misses with a body kick.
Grey works the jab nicely.
Grey throws the kick towards the body but Nooberson avoids it.
Nooberson just misses with a punch to the body.
Nooberson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Grey has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nooberson finds it's way round the side to connect with Grey's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nooberson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nooberson misses with a body shot.
Grey thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nooberson avoids a kick to the body.
A jab from Nooberson misses.
Grey throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nooberson looks gassed!
Grey goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Grey lands with a cross.
Grey scores with a nice body kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Grey!
Nooberson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grey lands a big head kick that sends Nooberson tumbling to the mat! Grey takes a step backwards and waves Nooberson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Noobie Nooberson has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick by Grey - that's a beauty! Nooberson is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Grey can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sasha Grey!
