The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Afshar tries to bum rush Maddo with a series of wild strikes but Maddo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maddo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Afshar was well out of range. Poor timing from Maddo.
Maddo looks to land a body kick but Afshar moved away.
Afshar lands a jab to Maddo's midsection.
Afshar lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Waiyu Maddo has been cut.

No joy there for Afshar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Maddo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Maddo lunges at Afshar with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Afshar's hand.

Maddo takes a swing at Afshar's ribcage but misses.
Maddo lands a brutal head kick. Afshar looks out on his feet and Maddo throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
