The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bird.
Rivera swinging wildly here.
Rivera dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rivera wants to clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bird.

It looks like Dominic Rivera has been cut.
Crunch! Rivera slams his shin into Bird's torso.
Bird gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Rivera fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bird to the ground. Rivera is now in Bird's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rivera has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bird to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rivera is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bird pulls down on the head and he's put Rivera to sleep! This one is all over!
