Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Code Branch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrell Daniel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrell Daniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Code Branch!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Branch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daniel.
Horrible takedown by Daniel or perhaps it was just good defense by Branch which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyrell Daniel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Branch misses with a wild combination.
Daniel shoots in and drives through. Branch sprawls well.
Daniel shoots for a takedown but Branch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Branch connects with a looping right hand.
Daniel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Branch.
Nice cross by Branch.
Branch catches Daniel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Branch cracks Daniel with a right hand to the side of the head.


It looks like Tyrell Daniel has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daniel doesn't manage to clinch there - Branch circles away.
Branch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Branch wants it to stay on the feet.

Branch loads up on a big right hand but Daniel slips the punch.
Daniel could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Branch!
Branch with a hook.
Branch swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniel.
A punch lands to the side of Daniel 's head but he takes it in his stride.


Daniel is rocked!
Branch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Branch misses with an uppercut

and Daniel counters by clinching up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daniel putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Branch in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Daniel can't get the takedown.
Daniel is breathing heavily.
Daniel stalling the fight.
Daniel fails to pull guard.

Branch is trying to force a seperation but Daniel has the dominant position.
Daniel tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Daniel looking for a takedown.
Daniel tries to land a knee to the head but Branch blocks with his arms.
Branch wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Daniel has him pressed against the cage.
Daniel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Branch tries to break the clinch but Daniel is controlling the position.

Daniel tries to throw a body punch but Branch avoids it by throwing Daniel back against the cage.
Daniel is working for takedown but Branch is calmly controlling the position for now.
Daniel is trying to pull guard but Branch has him pressed against the cage.
Branch tries to break the clinch but Daniel is controlling the position.
Branch wants to break the clinch but can't.
Branch can't break the clinch.
Daniel has Branch pressed against the cage, preventing Branch from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Branch wants to break free but Daniel has control.
Branch tries to circle away but Daniel has him pinned against the cage.
Daniel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Branch walks away with a smile on his face. Daniel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daniel is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Branch.
Branch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Branch connects with a good right hand that stumbles Daniel. Daniel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Code Branch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Branch drops Daniel with a beautiful combination! Daniel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Branch is looking for the KO!
Oh Daniel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Branch cracks Daniel with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Daniel tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Branch pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Daniel is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Code Branch!
