Malfacine comes to the cage accompanied by His Own Fight Video. Warner has chosen Gin Wigmore - Black Sheep as his entrance music. Warrock Warner has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Malfacine counters with a single leg into guard. Warner didn't expect that.
Warner being controlled here, momentarily.
Malfacine won't allow Warner to get back to his feet.
Warner looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Malfacine wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving.

Bruno Malfacine has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Malfacine closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Malfacine decides to stand back up. Malfacine steps back and let's Warner get back to his feet.
Warner doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Malfacine decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Warner's guard.

Malfacine has gone for a leg lock! Warner slips out almost immediately though and dives into Malfacine's guard.

Malfacine is looking to sinch up a triangle. Warner throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Malfacine's body to avoid the submission. Malfacine has instead reached around Warner's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Malfacine arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
