The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swenson closes the distance and clinches.
Cleagen is pressed up against the cage. Swenson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cleagen down to the mat. Cleagen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cleagen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cleagen wants to pass to mount but Swenson is defending the position.
Cleagen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Swenson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cleagen wants to advance to full mount but Swenson doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Cleagen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Swenson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Swenson wants to hold on but Cleagen pushes him away.
Cleagen cracks Swenson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Swenson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Cleagen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cleagen lands a big shot there that rocks Swenson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cleagen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Swenson wants to control but Cleagen is having none of it.

Scott Swenson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
