The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcgarry pinned against the cage. Mcgarry gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mcgarry avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Fury. No joy for Mcgarry on that attempt.

Fury moves into the clinch.

Fury jumps guard and drags Mcgarry to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mcgarry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fury dives on top into guard.

Fury postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mcgarry is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fury, into his guard.

Mcgarry is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fury is aware though and is defending well.

Fury drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mcgarry manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fury has Mcgarry in his guard.
Fury lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mcgarry!

Fury goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mcgarry turns into him and now he's in Fury's guard.

Mcgarry drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Mcgarry as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Fury screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Mcgarry! Nice submission victory there!
