Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey O Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zork Nemesis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neil kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Golden Brown. Nemesis has chosen Zork Nemesis as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemesis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before O Neil can pounce on him.
Nemesis avoids the head kick by O Neil.

Nemesis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
O Neil fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nemesis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nemesis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but O Neil manages to avoid it.

It looks like Zork Nemesis has been cut.
O Neil tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nemesis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crunch! O Neil slams his shin into Nemesis's torso.
O Neil scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
O Neil thuds his right hand into Nemesis's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nemesis takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
O Neil stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

O Neil waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Nemesis. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Nemesis to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Nemesis is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
O Neil is looking to work some ground and pound but Nemesis has wrist control.
O Neil wants to stand but Nemesis has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Nemesis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and O Neil dives into side control.
O Neil in side control, throwing shots but Nemesis defends.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
O Neil landing strikes from the mount.

O Neil sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
O Neil has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nemesis's face.
O Neil throws some wild stikes that Nemesis manages to avoid easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

O Neil lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! O Neil celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
