PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yianni Theodosis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Pabin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pabin has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theodosis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

That has opened up Damian Pabin's cut even more.

Theodosis feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pabin sprawling to the canvas! Pabin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Theodosis finish him?!
Pabin looks gassed!

Theodosis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Theodosis connects with an inside leg kick.
Pabin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Theodosis. Theodosis obviously looking to wear him down.
Theodosis throws a nice inside leg kick.
Theodosis cracks Pabin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pabin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Theodosis pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pabin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yianni Theodosis!
After winning the bout, Yianni Theodosis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
