Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers has chosen Square Dance as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lance Uppercut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Marshall Mathers!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uppercut slips a jab from Mathers.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lance Uppercut just wasn't active enough.
Mathers throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mathers smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mathers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mathers wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Lance Uppercut will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Uppercut crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mathers - the referee stops the clock and Uppercut gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mathers. Uppercut manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Mathers feints and then cracks Uppercut's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Uppercut down.

Mathers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mathers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lance Uppercut.
