The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machita shoots in but no luck this time.
Machita displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Britto.
Britto shoots in for a takedown but Machita shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Britto fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Machita sprawls well initially but Britto persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mirachi Machita has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Britto gets a takedown into half guard.
Britto lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Machita quite badly. Machita pulls Britto in close trying to recover. Britto postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Machita on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Machita doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
