The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Shami throws a nice looking combination but Kumalo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kumalo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kumalo duly obliges.
A combination from Al Shami does no damage.
Al Shami rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kumalo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Al Shami throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Al Shami misses.
Al Shami falls off balance throwing a combination

and Kumalo counters with a nice right hand that sends Al Shami toppling to the canvas! Al Shami scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kumalo finish him?!

It looks like Naser Al Shami has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kumalo misses the shot to the body.
No joy there for Kumalo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kumalo swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Al Shami counters with a left and a right that stings Kumalo.
Kumalo throws a body punch but Al Shami moves out of range.
Al Shami throws a jab but it's blocked by Kumalo.
Al Shami misses with the combination.

Kumalo lands with a shot to the body.
Kumalo looks to score with a jab to the body but Al Shami is just out of range.
Kumalo misses with a few strikes there.
Al Shami misses with a two punch combination.
Kumalo stuns Al Shami with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Al Shami looks gassed!
Al Shami misses with a head kick.
Al Shami defending well as Kumalo loads up on a big left hand.
Al Shami throws the left hand but Kumalo avoids the punch easily.
Kumalo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kumalo tries to bum rush Al Shami with a series of wild strikes but Al Shami uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kumalo is looking to wear down Al Shami with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kumalo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Al Shami at a distance.

Kumalo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Al Shami circles away quickly and effectively.
Kumalo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kumalo throws a poor cross that misses
and Al Shami counters with a nice uppercut.
Al Shami misses with a double jab.
A clash of legs there as Kumalo blocks the low kick.

Kumalo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Al Shami sprawling to the canvas! Al Shami rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kumalo finish him?!

Al Shami is rocked!
A decent looking cross lands there for Al Shami.
Al Shami misses with a double jab
and Kumalo counters with a left to the body.
Kumalo misses with a wild combination.
Kumalo slips a jab from Al Shami.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Al Shami glances at the clock... BAM! Kumalo nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Al Shami crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Al Shami is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
