The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefheart digs a good hook to Gomi's body.

Gomi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beefheart was covering up waiting for the punch and Gomi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gomi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gomi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beefheart tries to avoid it but Gomi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beefheart to the ground. Beefheart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
