Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh McRoberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Pall Sigmarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigmarsson has chosen Du Hast, Rammstein as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRoberts has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sigmarsson finds it's way round the side to connect with McRoberts's head.

It looks like Josh McRoberts has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sigmarsson looks to land a right hand but McRoberts moved out of range.
McRoberts throws a low kick, looking for Sigmarsson's leg but Sigmarsson calmly moves out of range.
McRoberts takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sigmarsson tries a head kick but it misses.
Sigmarsson lands with a good body shot.
McRoberts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McRoberts there as he acknowledges the shot.
McRoberts shoots in looking for a takedown. Sigmarsson tries to sprawl out of it but McRoberts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sigmarsson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

McRoberts misses with a looping left.
McRoberts lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sigmarsson circles away quickly and effectively.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McRoberts.

McRoberts is breathing heavily.

McRoberts shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sigmarsson as he jumps to the side.

McRoberts takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Sigmarsson steps into range and cracks McRoberts with a monster punch that buckles his knees! McRoberts flops backwards and Sigmarsson dives into his guard looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sigmarsson tries to free his leg and advance position but McRoberts is retaining full guard.
Sigmarsson postures up in McRoberts's guard and throws a big left but McRoberts blocks it.

McRoberts can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sigmarsson controls the pace.
Sigmarsson pushes down on McRoberts's leg and manages to get into half guard.

McRoberts tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McRoberts is working hard here to advance position.
Sigmarsson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sigmarsson has control of an arm but McRoberts manages to advance to Sigmarsson's back!
Sigmarsson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

McRoberts is trying to work for a kimura but Sigmarsson is defending well.
Sigmarsson is pressing down on McRoberts's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sigmarsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McRoberts wants to control from the top but Sigmarsson keeps moving.

Sigmarsson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McRoberts rolls with it to try and escape but Sigmarsson cranks on the arm and McRoberts is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
