Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Janice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Piano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Matthew Janice has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Matthew Janice seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Piano!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piano misses with a body shot.
A combination from Piano does no damage.
Janice closes the distance but Piano moves to the side
and Piano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Janice finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Janice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Piano misses with a hook. Janice ducked under it nicely.
Janice doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Matthew Janice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Piano.
Piano tries to clinch up.
Janice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Janice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Piano paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Janice feints and then cracks Piano's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Piano down.
Piano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Janice.
It looks like Don Piano has been cut.
Janice creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Piano's defenses.

Piano lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Piano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Janice throws a front kick aimed at Piano's knee but Piano avoids it well.

Piano will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Piano fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Janice on the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Piano postures up in Janice's guard and throws a big left but Janice blocks it.

Janice pushes Piano off looking to stand but Piano dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Piano dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Don Piano's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Piano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Janice tries to avoid it but Piano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Janice to the ground. Janice escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Piano throws a right and a left that Janice avoids nicely.
Piano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Janice tries to close the distance and clinch but Piano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Janice thumps Piano with a low kick.
Don Piano seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Janice throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Piano on the side of the head.

Piano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Matthew Janice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Piano.

Piano postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Janice badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Piano around the waist but Piano pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Piano is the winner by TKO! Piano jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Piano!
Don Piano decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
