The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornholio closes the distance but Bjj Expert moves to the side
and Bjj Expert counters with a single leg into guard. Cornholio didn't expect that.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bjj Expert thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cornholio is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bjj Expert has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cornholio has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Cornholio drops Bjj Expert with a beautiful combination! Bjj Expert stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cornholio is looking for the KO!
It looks like Ascension Bjj Expert has been cut.

Cornholio wants to clinch up but Bjj Expert keeps it at a distance.
Cornholio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
