Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sir Smokealot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norwegian Viking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sir Smokealot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Norwegian Viking!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smokealot has closed the distance and engaged Viking in a clinch.

Smokealot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smokealot fails to land with a series of punches.
Viking will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smokealot looks for a takedown but Viking sprawls well.
Smokealot displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Viking throws out the jab.
Smokealot takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Smokealot connects with a leg kick. Viking looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Viking darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Smokealot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Viking as he avoids it easily.
Viking displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Sir Smokealot has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Viking throws a nice looking combination but Smokealot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Norwegian Viking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Viking tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smokealot paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Viking fails with an attempt to clinch.

Smokealot throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Viking was covering up waiting for the punch and Smokealot finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smokealot working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Viking's head.
Viking wants to stand up but Smokealot is controlling him.
Smokealot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smokealot is working hard here to advance position.
Smokealot stops Viking from standing up.
Smokealot passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Viking tries to escape but Smokealot is in control.

Smokealot is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Viking is trying to escape and Smokealot transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Viking is forced to tap! Nice work there by Smokealot! Very nice indeed!
