The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fugelsang drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Fugelsang wants to control from the top but Moraes keeps moving.
Fugelsang might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Moraes kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fugelsang wants to stand but Moraes has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Moraes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Moraes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fugelsang manages to get himself to full guard.

Moraes drops back looking for a leg! Fugelsang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fugelsang manages to kick Moraes off! Moraes jumps back into Fugelsang's guard.

Moraes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fugelsang dives on top into guard.
