Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mo Tali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Adebesi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tali kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If ya smelllllllllllll what the rock is cookin. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mo Tali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Simon Adebesi!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tali tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tali is defended easily by Adebesi.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tali.
Tali tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adebesi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tali somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Tali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adebesi scores with a nice right hand.
Adebesi works Tali's body with a nice hook.
Tali tries to clinch there but Adebesi circles away.
Adebesi jabs Tali right on the nose. Tali blinks but takes it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adebesi has one foot on Tali's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Tali slips a jab from Adebesi.

and Tali counters with a nice kick to the body.
Adebesi lands a right hook to the body.
Tali doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Adebesi misses with a two punch combination.
Adebesi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Adebesi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tali is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Adebesi.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Adebesi, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adebesi throws an overhand right that lands on Tali's shoulder, as Tali tries to avoid the shot.

Adebesi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tali tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adebesi swivels and escapes.
Tali shoots in but Adebesi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Adebesi looks to land a combination. Tali sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tali takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A punch combination from Adebesi misses.
Tali fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Adebesi lands a two punch combo.
Adebesi misses the jab.
Adebesi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Adebesi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tali.
Adebesi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tali.

Tali uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adebesi.

and Tali counters with a single leg into guard. Adebesi didn't expect that.
Tali won't allow Adebesi to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tali decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Adebesi, up you get!

Adebesi misses with a straight right.
Adebesi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Adebesi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tali.
Tali shoots for a takedown but Adebesi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tali displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Adebesi throws out the jab.

and Tali counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Adebesi's guard now.
Tali wants to control from the top but Adebesi keeps moving.
Adebesi is looking to stand up but Tali isn't so interested in that idea.

Adebesi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tali is controlling him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Adebesi wants to stand but Tali is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Adebesi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tali shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tali stops Adebesi from getting back to his feet.
Tali is looking for a kimura here.
Tali is looking to advance position but Adebesi won't allow it.
Adebesi is looking to escape.
Tali thows a huge punch but Adebesi dodges it nicely.

Adebesi is breathing heavily.
Adebesi pushes Tali off, looking to escape but Tali dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Adebesi is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mo Tali!
After winning the bout, Mo Tali thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
