The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bashir drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Librium avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bashir trying to control the position from guard on top but Librium is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bashir postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Librium is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bashir, into his guard.
Bashir looking for a sweep. Not yet Bashir, not yet.
Bashir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bashir keeping moving, preventing Librium from controlling successfully.
Librium scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Bashir is pulling down on Librium's head to control his posture.
Librium trying to control but Bashir is working from the bottom.

Bashir is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bashir has his hands on Librium's head, controlling the position.
Librium tries to free his leg and advance position but Bashir is retaining full guard.
Librium must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Librium won't allow Bashir to get back to his feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Mohamed Bashir wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Bashir shoots in and bounces Librium off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bashir wants to control from the top but Librium keeps moving.

Bashir drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bashir seems to have locked his on tight now - Librium screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bashir, as he picks up the win!
