Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klein comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mortal Kombat kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Klein as he avoids it easily.
Couture shoots in for a takedown but Klein shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Klein fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Couture, pushing him back against the cage.
Klein lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Couture can't get the takedown.

Couture tries to score a body lock takedown but Klein shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Couture misses with a takedown attempt - Klein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Couture has hold of one of Klein's legs. Klein is fighting the takedown attempt but Couture gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Couture will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Couture is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Klein misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Couture tries for a takedown but Klein sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Klein counters with a head kick that drops Couture to the mat! Couture scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Couture is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Klein drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Couture's head, knocking him out cold! Klein is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
