Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos clobbers Connell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Connell tries to clinch but Ramos is having none of it.
Nice jab there from Ramos.
Connell is looking to clinch but Ramos is avoiding it.
Connell gets a double leg takedown into Ramos's guard.
Connell is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ramos is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ramos has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Connell is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ramos scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ramos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Connell keeps working.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ramos winds up and cracks Connell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Connell wants to improve his position but Ramos is controlling well.

Ramos stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Connell throws up his legs and catches Ramos in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Ramos tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Connell! That came out of nowhere!
