Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mariusz Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Zakrzewski is just out of range.

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zakrzewski defends it easily.

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zakrzewski defends well.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather.

Lee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zakrzewski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lee is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Zakrzewski can't fight it off and eventually Lee manages to take the fight to the floor. Zakrzewski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
