Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spete Pasanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Pasanen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rolling Stones - Paint it black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Spete Pasanen enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No joy there for Morris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pasanen lands with an overhand left.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pasanen.
Pasanen throws a hook to the side of Morris's head but Morris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Morris misses with a straight right.
Morris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pasanen.
A punch combination from Pasanen misses.
Pasanen cracks Morris with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Morris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pasanen was well out of range. Poor timing from Morris.

Morris bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pasanen's head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Morris throws a head punch that misses.
Morris struggles to land a body shot inside as Pasanen controls his hands.
Pasanen is trying to drag Morris to the mat but Morris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Morris has clasped his hands together around Pasanen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Pasanen is not content to let Morris control the position.
Pasanen is trying to control Morris's posture but Morris avoids it.
Pasanen is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pasanen is looking for a sweep.
Morris postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Pasanen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pasanen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Morris works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morris throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Morris wants to control the pace but Pasanen is squirming around nicely.
Morris lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pasanen hang on?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morris pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Morris loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Pasanen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Morris land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Morris stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Morris!
Jack Morris got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
