Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cocoa Jenk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Thompistone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenk throws a series of punches but Thompistone avoids them all with ease.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Thompistone enables Jenk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thompistone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A punch lands to the side of Thompistone 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jenk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Thompistone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Thompistone closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Travis Thompistone has been cut.
That kick from Jenk tenderised Thompistone's leg. Thompistone is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jenk has closed the distance and engaged Thompistone in a clinch.

Jenk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thompistone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jenk but Jenk pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Thompistone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jenk's guard.

Jenk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Thompistone decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Thompistone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Jenk.

Thompistone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thompistone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thompistone goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jenk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thompistone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
