Crowe comes to the cage accompanied by The Dead Brothers - Death Blues. Silva has chosen Eminem - Lose yourself as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harlan Crowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Silva!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks.
Silva throws the left hand but Crowe avoids the punch easily.
Silva moves out of range as Crowe throws a body kick.
Crowe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Antonio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Crowe tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice body kick there by Crowe.
Silva misses with a straight left.
Silva throws a jab when Crowe was well out of range.
Crowe slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Crowe ducks down to avoid it.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crowe.

Crowe fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Crowe is now in Silva's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Crowe passes into side control.
Crowe cracks Silva with a big elbow.
Crowe is chipping away with strikes.
Silva is trying to improve his position.
Crowe lands a nice forearm strike.
Crowe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crowe is working Silva over with some ground and pound from side control.
Crowe is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Crowe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Crowe landing strikes.
Crowe scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Silva to see if he's OK.


Silva is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crowe tries to advance to mount but Silva denies him.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Crowe finish him?
Crowe connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.
Crowe working the ground and pound.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crowe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Crowe cracks Silva with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Crowe immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Silva is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Crowe!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harlan Crowe!
Harlan Crowe bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
