Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opa Lainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregory comes to the cage accompanied by A New Level. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gregory has closed the distance and engaged Lainen in a clinch.
Lainen wants to break free but Gregory has control.

Gregory lands a nice uppercut.

Gregory ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gregory no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gregory had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lainen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gregory Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lainen's back instead.
I really don't envy Lainen right now.

Lainen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Gregory gets his way!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lainen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lainen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gregory can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lainen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
