Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pull Me Under - Dream Theater. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Long did well to prevent Gracie getting side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Long is looking to improve his position.
Gracie trying to control from half guard but Long is working away.
Long is trying to get back to full guard.
Gracie is keen to just control but Long is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Long is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Long tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.

Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Long is retaining full guard.
Gracie postures up in Long's guard and throws a big left but Long blocks it.
Long is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Long keeps moving.
Long manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie pushes a forearm under Long's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Long is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
