Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Planka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esko Morko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morko has chosen Cannibal Corpse - Make Them Suffer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Planka is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Marco Planka could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Esko Morko's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Esko Morko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planka stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Morko.
Planka is breathing heavily.
Morko tries to clinch up but Planka circles away and keeps his distance.
Morko shoots for a takedown but Planka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Morko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Planka throws out the jab.
Morko fails with the takedown.
Morko tries a head kick but it misses.
Morko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Morko closes the distance and clinches up with Planka, looking for a takedown. Morko pushes Planka against the cage but Planka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marco Planka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Esko Morko.
Morko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Morko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Morko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Planka.
Morko throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A nice leg kick lands there from Morko.
Morko displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Marco Planka has been cut.

Planka gets caught flat footed, as Morko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morko passes into half guard.

Morko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Morko works his foot free and advances to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Morko takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Morko is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Planka has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Morko has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Planka taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Morko doesn't care though - he's delighted!
