Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iron Trident (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angry Jabberwocky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iron Trident has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jabberwocky shoots in looking for a takedown. Trident tries to sprawl out of it but Jabberwocky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trident manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jabberwocky cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jabberwocky postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Trident looks a forlorn figure.

Trident is looking to improve his position but Jabberwocky isn't that keen on the idea.

After the fight, Angry Jabberwocky was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
