Gray comes to the cage accompanied by make love not war baby. Hanks comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gray manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gray throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gray fails to land the takedown.
Gray slips under a jab from Hanks.
Hanks misses the body punch
and Gray counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hanks jabs Gray to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Gray circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hanks catches Gray with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Gray lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Hanks thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gray feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hankss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Fred Hanks has been cut.
Gray shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hanks sprawls well. Hanks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gray gets slowly back to his feet.
Hanks works the jab nicely.
Hanks tries to clinch but Gray moves out of range.
Fred Hanks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hanks is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gray.
Fred Hanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanks keeps the fight on the outside.

The crowd cheers as Gray lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hanks doesn't seem phased though.
Hanks avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hanks wants to clinch.
Hanks misses with a looping right.
Hanks tries to clinch but Gray is having none of it.
Gray lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hanks with a hook.
Hanks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hanks instigates a clinch.
Gray lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hanks backwards.

Hanks struggles to land a body shot inside as Gray controls his hands.
Hanks lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Gray jumps guard but Hanks stands there with Gray around his waist. Gray gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Gray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hanks digs a good body shot into Gray's ribs.
Gray lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A jab lands there for Hanks.

Gray is rocked!
Hanks tries to clinch there but Gray circles away.
Oh Gray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hanks moves in close and cracks Gray with a massive right hand! Gray, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Hanks!
