PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nil Sorsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrei Fedor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorsky leaves Fedor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fedor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fedor lands in his opponent's guard.
Fedor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Fedor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sorsky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fedor winds up and cracks Sorsky with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fedor scores with a big shot! Sorsky's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Sorsky! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

A less than humble Andrei Fedor misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
